The Cyber Technologist (CT) role is a dynamic and varied customer focused technical position. CT's provide technical and cyber defence expertise in pre-sale and post-sales accounts, working together with our Cyber Account Managers to ensure customer needs are met. Darktrace is currently expanding its technical team to accommodate a rapidly growing customer base and accelerating revenue. We are looking to hire a senior figure within the commodities sector (Energy, Oil, Gas etc) to spearhead our team and to drive continuous growth in this area. This role offers fast-paced career development, and numerous opportunities for personal advancement. You'll be provided with extensive training and support as you further your existing skills in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Technically managing pre and post sale Darktrace deployments
  • Help design security architectures for customers and prospect’s OT networks
  • Support the Darktrace Industrial sales team in conversations with prospects and customers
  • Support the Darktrace technical teams in enabling customers to best utilise Darktrace’s solution within OT environments
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for customers and prospects in implementing Darktrace’s Industrial Immune System to help secure OT networks
  • Contribute to blog posts and educational videos for customers
  • Participate in contributing to technical product marketing and industry conferences representing Darktrace Industrial

Requirements

This role will suit technical individuals who have a strong background within the commodities sector and are looking for a challenging client facing role that bridges technology and the business.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • >5 years experience in a role implementing OT infrastructure or a Sales Engineer role selling OT infrastructure
  • Experience with SCADA system architectures
  • Experience designing security architectures for OT networks
  • Experience securing or deploying OT devices including PLCs and HMIs
  • Knowledge of security best practices for OT systems including MITRE’s ATT&CK for ICS framework
  • Practical experience securing a network using the Purdue Model
  • Experience with OT systems including systems from Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Allen-Bradley
