Key Duties & Responsibilities of the role:

  • Developing, managing, configuring and automating systems/services in AWS 
  • Engineering network changes
  • Performing software integration
  • Able to work within a small team, formed for particular tasks with some experienced members
  • Deploying AWS based infrastructures
  • Working on projects alone, or as a team and developing brand-new ideas

For this role you need to be tenacious, driven and have the following skill set:

  • Experience (2yrs+) in a AWS engineering or similar role within Cloud computing
  • Experience developing, managing, configuring and automating systems/services in AWS
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
  • Experience writing production Python code
  • Knowledge of networking or cyber security fundamentals
  • Experience with big data or machine learning-based applications
  • Experience with Linux and Git 
  • Minimum 2:1 from a leading University
